I see my body starting to take shape now and this excites me. I've had so many compliments in the office recently. I feel wonderful about about it and I am very thankful. Many have mentioned that I look like I've dropped a lot of weight recently however the scale has only moved down a few pounds (Thank you Fasting for the body changes). I got this!

I am getting closer to 200 lbs which is my current goal. Once I get to 1XX, I will change my goal to 185 and start the real work. What is the real work? The real work is how to kick this energy balance your body strives for in the butt.

Fasting is easier than working out, trust me, I know. When I work out, I get really hungry and when I eat after working out, I eat like a horse, back away! Ask my family, when I got home yesterday and had dinner @ 7 PM after running outdoors 9 hours earlier, It was a little hard to stop eating. Usually when I break fasting, I get stuffed easily. This is why fasting for me is easier than working out.

So, on my quest to continue to build the body of my dreams (I will update my BIO when I get to onederland) , I will implement more working out / fasting / LCHF eating all while trying to tame the beast inside me screaming feed me post work outs. I want big arms, chest and the 6 pack abs, but I will settle for a flat tummy if getting the 6 pack means giving up beer, wine, liquor, chocolate and chips. This guy's got to live a little.

The compliments and being able to see the inches go away are always great motivations for me!! :) I'm thinking once I hit the 175 goal I'm going to update mine to 150 and then just judge how I look as I'm working to get there, but I'm like you - the main goal is a flat tummy so whatever the weight is when I get there that will be the final :) After Aerobics I try to snack healthy only as to not compromise my workout but your right I tend to have MORE of an appetite after workouts.

LOL at beast inside screaming post workouts. This is why I'm not working out yet! Once I do, if my partner finds my abs too cut then I'll add chocolate. :-) Your pics and prose are inspiring, thank you!

thats awesome.. I bet you feel great.. I always remind myself that the scale is only one way to measure success. Glutamine in my post work out shake always helps me when lifting.. which I hope to restart Monday. Your an inspiration Ches ! YOU GOT THIS !

I find after a workout..my morning ride...i tend to eat more..trying to replace what I've worked off from being in fast mode from night before...or as day goes along and I'm really tired..then I can't stop eating..learning to healthy snack before you get to the starving stage helps..way to go on the running an transforming your body..

Right?! When I work out I have crazy food cravings, especially if I swim. I am best with low carb, passive exercise.

It sounds like you are on the right path. I will not give up the treats to get to 108 pounds. I am not 36 years old either. Therefore, I allow for that as do my doctors. I earn my wine and sweets. Rock on!

Great news Ches!!! Agreed, fasting is much easier than working out for weight and fat loss, even if we work out we need to be careful with consumption. Training (exercise) helps get us leaner for sure... but it also helps make us fitter, stronger and better able to run after grandkids ;-)
