Some great thoughts for me yesterday. I really appreciate the encouragement. I did lol at the mature and wise bit - I think I'm way beyond where normal 26 year olds are in some ways and wow baby I still giggle at fart jokes hehehehe.
The kid is feeling a little better, well enouh to go to school for the party anyways. I told the teachers to call me if shes ready to go home though. Oh darn if have to leave work early to spend time with the monkey on my birthday :) Even if she is sick any time I get with her is a blessing.
Although - I did come in to work today to find 2 birthday cards and an email to celebrate me. I feel loved.
My birthday present to me is a new low! Yeah buddy! I've been gluten free since Wednesday and its finally showing. I hit the local grain/random health foods store and got some coconut flour and might just need to head back there for a gluten free cookbook or two. The pumpkin cheesecake recipe on here didn't turn out like I wanted but maybe its just that I used Truvia instead of Splenda? Weird bitter after taste and was more like a mousse than thick creamy cheesecake. Will just have to bake another tonight and try again. Mmmm. Cheesecake.
I hope everyone enjoys today for the day we've been blessed with regardless of anything else going on.
