Excuse me while I whine for a minute. I have a pet peeve: It drives me nuts when I go to add a food to my diary for the day and the listing for that food is completely inaccurate. It happened this morning with Wellshire Uncured Corned Beef. I had the package in my hands, so as soon as the calorie count came up for 2oz I knew right away it was incorrect. I went to the full FS listing for the product and found that more than half the values that were entered were incorrect -- by a lot, including the fact that the calories listed for 2 oz were half what they actually are. Now I could understand if the person got mixed up and wanted to enter a half serving so all the values were half what they should have been for 2 oz, but this was not the case. It was kind of random. I updated the entry, but I wish someone would explain to me how people think they are going to lose weight if they cut back on the calorie count in the diary entry???? Whine, whine, whine. This is how you feel the next morning when you've stayed up through a painful 18 innings of baseball and the Cubs still manage to lose by one run.

I support your whine! I realize that some products have different values for different markets. Like something packaged for the UK will have different sizes and sometimes slightly different ingredients than the "supposedly" same product released here in the US, but like yourself, I frequently come across something with totally "whack-a-doodle" values. It's even more frustrating when there's a photo as well, and is depicting the same exact product I'm looking at.

LOL! I had an argument with someone over my Truvia entry. They kept wanting to add calories or carbs to it for whatever food plan they were on. I told them, in that case, make their own entry and leave mine from the actual product alone! :-)

And, it was a record setting game. You viewed history! LOL!

jeannieselby -- oh yeah...I get that you have to read the entry carefully to make sure the difference isn't different packaging for different markets, but in this case the person had the same 2 oz serving that was on the package, but had listed half the calories the package said was in a 2 oz serving. Some of the other values were correct, but others were completely off the mark. I don't get it. Maybe the person needs new reading glasses?

Johanne -- making history only matters when the Cubs win. When they lose it's a horrible let down, especially at 1am!

Kathryn1922 -- I am 65 years old and have watched my beloved Cubs in precisely one World Series. And because I grew up a Cubs fan, that one World Series win was and must be enough for a lifetime. I will die happy just because I saw them win in 2016.

I'm an Cleveland Indians fan and in my 50 years I've watched them lose the World Series for the Cubs only win in my lifetime, the Marlins only win and the Braves only win in my lifetime. Did I mention they lost two of those in extra innings of game 7? You guys can debate who has it worse between KC (2 WS wins in my lifetime) and Chicago, I know which team has a real curse LOL.
BTW I hate the Yankess too.

Oh I'm not debating who has it worse, ofdwolf. Just sayin: Saw it once. It was miraculous and joyful, and if I never see it again...well, I'm a Cubs fan.

I'm not debating it either.....we've both seen our teams win and now it's over....still a Royals fan unless they trade Salvy.....then I look for a new team...as my son used to say I am a fair weather fan....guess he was right...anyway we aren't that far back.....YET,
