So last night I was studying for a very tough statistics exam and I stress-ate. A little disappointed in myself that it's only been a day or two since the last time that happened, but I feel good because I think I kept it contained. 1 oreo, some potato chip crumbs, half a low-carb tortilla with 1 slice of cheese, other nibbles.. I didn't track, but I estimate I probably went 300-400 over my budget. When I've been that stressed/mini-binged in the past, I've been known to put away 700-800+ calories, easy. I was definitely more tuned-in, more conscious, and more authentic to myself than I have been in the past. I call that progress! :)

And now I'm getting RIGHT back on track, including this awesome salad from my local Giant (for real guys, their salad bars are awesome, fresh, and list calories per oz above each item). Let's see if I can't go a whole week under budget!!

Did that come from the cafeteria? I wish I had something like that at my disposal without having to buy groceries and make it myself.

I discovered an upscale grocery with a hot bar, including lots of fish and roasted veggies. Finally eating fish again!

So you had a cookie and some chips, you contained the cheat to just a minor one. I don't know how these things constantly get into ones mouth and down the gullet before we even realize we are cheating.

Stats classes drive most to find all kinds of things to sooth the distress of studying. My go-to would be ice cream or cheetos. Your choices were much better. Best wishes for future stats success.
