Today begins the IF Beast Mode 3.0 Challenge. I haven't eaten anything since around 8pm last night. Walked through the kitchen looking at the pre-Halloween candy my wife has out on the table. Meh. Strolled over to the kitchen counter where I've got a chub of smoked summer sausage setting beside the coffee pot. More meh. Poured a cup of coffee. Facebook is polluted with campaign season crap, I keep seeing the same things in my news feed, it's like an old record that's scratched and keeps skipping, I even changed my feed from "Top Stories" to "Most Recent" about a dozen times and it's still the same tired crud. Anyway, nothing worse than boredom and complacency to make sticking to your goals that much more difficult, so I decided to journal, I don't journal much anymore, but that may change, it doesn't help that the power company is doing utility work on the lines right outside my house, the constant hum of utility work is about to give me an anxiety attack. Probably should get off here and do something productive, the wife is on vacation for the next couple of weeks, hopefully I can maintain my resolve and not go on a feeding frenzy!

Are you working, Phil? I definitely understand how boredom can lead to mindless munching, so maybe a hobby is needed to fill the time that you used to spend in front of the fridge/pantry. What's it like outside? How about a walk?

Thanks for the kind words. I'm not working today, Soon, but I've got plenty of projects to keep me busy. Lilly's up and running now, so things should get a lot less boring. lol I had about an hour and a half lull that was pretty skull penetrating, that's passed, so things should be good steam rolling into the afternoon.
