Well looks like I'm up a pound. not sure about that ... I look smaller... don't feel as squishy.... so I'm not gonna cry about it....

I really gotta quit cheese... that, I'll cry about... I keep saying it but then part of me is like "but it's the only good thing I have left" ... I'm sure if I cut out the dairy I'd lose faster.

what if I try for one day? baby steps? *sigh* ....... ok ... ok...... what if in the a.m.. half the amount of cream in my coffee and add coconut oil. ........ and .....reluctantly have a dairy free meal a day to start. ....

also maybe raise my work out goals a little .. just a little... don't wanna break myself either........ but otherwise.. calories have been normal, carbs reasonable.

any other things I should stop? or start?

still annoying that I'm up... blarg!!!

It happens. Might just be some water retainment. I'd wait another week before going into panic mode.

I am thinking it might be the salt in the cheese? Cheese is high in salt. I don't do well with a lot dairy myself. Sodium can cause these kinds of fluctuations. Sounds like that gain is water retention. Amp the water up and check your weigh again tomorrow or Satuday.

No worries. The dairy is like anything else, once you've done without it a while you don't miss it nearly as much.

Drink lots of water. It's counter-intuitive, but the more water you drink the less your body will hoard water. Whenever I go up, it's almost always because I have days so busy I'm not drinking a much water as I should.

Ya jenny you're right...I've gone without it before ... it's just easier eating cheese lol...... you have a point with the water. I haven't been paying attention but now that I think of it, I haven't filled my water bottle as much lately..... I probably shouldn't worry... and normally I wouldn't , it's just cause I'm so close to 199 that I'm getting anxious

I read your post, and thought to share with you. Giving things up is hard, and whenever I did it in the past, it would be okay for a while and then I would get cravings and just set myself back a lot, often giving up. So I made a personal rule. Nothing is forbidden, but has to be planned. So, I would say, plan yourself a cheese day where it is built into your food for the day. Look forward to it. Enjoy it, and then give it up for a week, or whatever. Good luck. Hope this helps you.

You have been exercicing a LOT. Your muscles will be inflamed from just repairing themselves. It's normal you will get a significant drop soon enough.

HCB yup... so close!! this 4 pounds is driving me nuts! barb, ya I really need to atleast limit the hell out of it..... lady... should a have a rest day or two?? think that would help? or just continue and know that's why?

Hunter, I don't exercise 😧, but I remember back when I DID, I stepped on the Weight Watchers scale 4 pounds heavier when all I did was eat on plan and do weight training and cardio. For specifics on the best exercise frequency and intensity, look to ImLaura, chesgreen, or Majohn or Dr. Google. People like you go nuts if they don't work out, and I don't want to give you bad advice. Just how can it be bad when you do everything right from your macros to your oxygenation?

pffft I have no clue how it could be bad... might just take more time to reflect a loss?..I hope lol ... I just recently started working out. I didn't the first while but I need the strength for my back issues. maybe ill focus more on measurements for a while ...they are still good.

I was hovering between 202 and 200 for a couple of months and it was driving me crazy. The scale taunted me for weeks and in fact, three days in a row, it read 200.0. I thought..."Really???!!!" However, after finally giving up on the scale for a couple of weeks and really hankering down on what I needed to do, I finally tip toed into ONEderland. Believe me, I feel your pain, but you will definitely get there! I ended up putting my scale away hidden from my view for a couple of weeks, and that really helped me. Just an idea if it's really getting to you. :) *hugs*

I may try it but I'm afraid that without the constant reminder I may falter ... if this keeps going though .... I'm gonna smash the damn thing with a hammer

I'm sure it's frustrating. Watching and counting and working out. It's exhausting. Then to see that damm needle go in the wrong direction! Stay strong! Make sure you are drinking enough water! I have medical issues and that is one of the things...believe it or not, that I think is helping me. Also, muscle weighs more. Not sure how often you are weighing in... But try not to do it daily. Try weekly. Just some friendly suggestions. Keep up the hard work. No one can do it for you.

I go up a few pounds for a few days after working out! Don't sweat it. You know you're doing everything right.

Well I'm back down to 203 .. but I should have lost a pound by now... but ya maybe it's the working out... but I can't stop. I need the strength. .... scales will have to wait I guess
