Be careful with the weights, especially 25 pounders. If you overdo it, you can severely strain/pull your muscles, and then it will take weeks, if not months, to heal. Been there, done that.

Good luck on the new program Misty...it'll be nice to work with a few heavier weights I'll bet.

Work it girl! :)

Mahjohn told me heavier weights, fewer reps....I still must go buy heavier ones, even though I did decrease my reps and increased my sets with the 10 pound ones and they seem to be giving a better workout....I have standing biceps for like 20 minutes afterwards :)

Thanks all. I was able to do full 15 reps of the stiff leg dead lift with the 25's. My reverse lunges, 12, full reps bent over rows, full set squats, incline press 7. And repeat... I haven't tried curling them yet I sit on a ball, curl up then hammer down. I'm gonna get big😆💪🏻🏋. It's fun to lift 50lbs :-) I'm 123 so if I had 30's that would be almost half my weight! Like I said, I want to do this all year :-) my food today was good, did have 25 Reese's pieces though but under my RDI still. Went through the store today for prep got the cold oats brewing for the a.m :-) lots of chicken, broccoli, greens, tuna and EGGS!

Thanks Kp and schmetterling34! Suzy has no fear, she wants it and is going the distance. That's the attitude needed!

Hahahahaha took me awhile to get the pullover comment! I loved the way it made my triceps and pecs feel though. I did it on the ball so the one leg bridge was tricky. New weights r going great, have to reduce reps but I'm feeling it for sure, whole different feeling in the muscles. I did my whole total body beast workout today, it takes me longer than 49mins but I go at my pace and get it done. I was right, my body was just laughing at those 15lbers during some moves. Now still can't do heavy on the delt flies but Ive increased since day one. It's fun for me too, better than sitting on my butt doing nothing but eating and drinking! ;-) hope u r sleeping better.

Thanks. I didn't know that...heavier weights, fewer reps. Sounds okay, again, as long as you don't overdo it. Muscles aches, strains and pains are no fun.
