maybe you could make your own 'big mac' just use lettuce as your wrap/ bun or maybe a low car bun... I know what you mean.. so easy to gain so dang hard to loose ! Hang in there I've gone several months without losing an ounce, the body has a mind of it's own

Keep at it. I find it easier to log in everything that I eat and drink so that I can go back and find things to eliminate or tweak from my diet. I gain when I don't log because I truly forget some of the "bad" things I've eaten, then I get frustrated.
I've hit a plateau the past few days, so even though I've been 100% on my diet, I'm going to increase my water to try and flush whatever out.

You're averaging .8lb/week which is good! Better slow and steady than big drop, followed by big gain!! And, as you noted, it does get more difficult to lose as we get older, so just hang in there and continue to work on "a little bit at a time!"

Edardj, I lose about 2 pounds a month. I would be thrilled. LOL! Hang in there. I agree with others, - get out some ground beef and make yourself some burgers with a lettuce wrap and pile on the tomato, onions, mayo, and cheese.

My goal right now is to lose around 0.5 lbs/week. I think slow is definitely better. Stick with it!
