Found a Slim-Fast shake with 1 net carb. Slim-Fast Advanced Nutrition. Tried the Strawberries 'N Cream yesterday. (I do NOT like strawberries, so this was not a fave by any means.)
I drank the shake around 7:30pm last night, and it claims to curb your hunger for 4 hours. Let me tell you. Being on a low carb diet...I am hungry...CONSTANTLY. Not that I wasn't hungry all the time before this round of dieting. But after I drank the shake...I didn't feel hungry. Until 11:30pm. BF had left for work at 11:15pm, and within 15 minutes of him leaving, I was scavenging the cabinets like a crazy woman. Seriously, I could not find food fast enough. It was like, all the sudden my stomach thought it hadn't eaten for months! I calmed it down with a Tuna Salad Lettuce Wrap. But man...if I wouldn't have had something healthy to eat, I probably would have broke down and ate girl scout cookies. I am so glad I had just made the Tuna Salad.
I am going to try the Chocolate Shake today. I will be prepared this time. With healthy food readily available.
On a side note...has anyone tried Turkey Pepperoni? I bought some this morning, but I was hoping for an opinion before I opened the package.

Pepperoni and Turkey Pepperoni both have 0 carbs. The turkey pepperoni just has less fat. So we will see. I'll update once Ive tried it.

When LC, fat is your friend....

Absolutely Rckc. Just have to keep all the factors in check. Don't want too much fat and not enough protein or carbs, or too much protein or carbs and not enough fat. Its a delicate balance. Sometimes I need 12 grams of fat, and sometimes I only need 6 grams. So that will be the deciding point of whether I need regular Pepperoni or Turkey Pepperoni, while still being able to get enough to be satisfied.

I shoot for 75% fat, 20% protein, 5% carbs doing LCHF. I wasn't sure what plan you were on...

I shoot for 70% fat, 25% protein, 5% carbs. Of course I fluctuate day to day, but I try to keep it pretty square.

When you are on low carb, like atkins, and you get hungry, WELL EAT. that is the beauty of a low carb diet. it doesn't give you the licence to over eat but to eat on the right fats until satisfied. Yes I have ate turkey pepperoni and it is very good. I just eat it right out of the bag.

If ou are LCHF it is possible to get too much protein which metabolizes to glucose in the liver and acts like carbs in your system, higher fat will be better and you will mot be hungry! avocado, almonds, coconut oil, etc. Good Luck!

Really? I'm Surprised. I just bought Garden of Life Raw Protein & Greens that has 0 net carbs...I'm suspicious. even unsweetened almond milk claims 0 net. Hmmmm...
