Odd things I've noticed since losing weight:
* The zippers are so short on hip-hugger/low-rider jeans! Not since the high-waisted jeans of the 80s have I worn any with zippers; Instead, I was in 16-18W pull-up stretch denims with elastic waistbands. Yes, I cringed a little having typed that. * Bending over to tie shoe laces means the knot will be centered. For me, for years, lifting foot to knee because of a belly blocker resulted in a crooked bow on sneakers. LOL * Stripes are not my enemy any more, and rainbow colors are actually cheerful & pretty. Most of my discarded, now over-sized wardrobe was in monotone blacks, dark browns, and navy blues. I have more color in my closet than ever before, and it brings a smile to my face each morning. * Wearing lacy lingerie instead of moo-moos will draw hubby's attention away from the TV, even if football is on. Yeah, 'nuf said on that topic. LOL And last, but not least... * Without an extra 50 lbs, a woman can not only wear, but run in stillettos. Without killing herself, I might add...just for clarification. (Those who are on a low-carb diet will know why I was running. LOL)
