I am curious, are you a body builder? By the way, I did get to Easy E's grave and will try to post something related to it. I was a powerlifter in college. I was taking steroids, building weight, and very strong. I don't really remember, but I was benching between 400-450 lbs. It's funny because I have trouble with 200 lbs now. I am just curious as to what you wish to accomplish. I also new a five time Mr. Universe, named Bill Pearl. The only other 5 Timer was Arnold. Thanks!!

Hey Warren. lol. no, i am not a body builder, although, with clothes on i may look like one. lol. The total gym will build some mussle but nothing beats free weights. I'm 5'9'' and currently 259 lbs. when i was 14 i started lifting i was like 160lbs. When i was 16 i was 200lbs. the most i benched at 16 was 325lbs. i am doing exercises on total gym to just maintain and stay flexible. I'm getting older. (43) this year. i want to control any gains before they get out of control. in last 2 years i'v gained like 30lbs. my job has me walking like 5+ miles a day but that was not enough. i was still gaining but as of this year i'v been working harder to lose and i think im down like 14 lbs. i really do enjoy the total gym, it makes my body feel better. I cant wait to see some pics of Easy E. stuff. i guess i could put a pic up of me some time. we will see. lol.

Its good to hear about your background. I'm former military and stayed in reasonable shape due to that. I'm a lawyer now so I do a lot of sitting around and quite naturally, any weight gain goes straight around my middle and posterior. I just complete day 4 of my new workout. The newness is starting to wear off but I still definitely prefer it to free weights- the good news is with the Total Gym I will be able to select 9 new exercise cards next week to vary my routine.

Well, since your goal is losing weight, remember, you are kind of working two things a bit in opposite directions. The big lifting is keeping weight up a bit, so diet needs to be your central focus. The running helps a lot. I'm lucky, my weight loss has taken place with little exercise, because of my knee rehab. I like the fasting, and am beginning to eat a bit more. My LA Fitness has all new machines, and I love it there, but my knee is really up and down. It will be a big psychological boost, when I am able to run again, or at least do a cardio workout. Funny, I got to see my parents grave, and then I saw a gardener there, and asked him if he knew where Easy E's grave was. He said, "Sure!". A real nice, very formal kind of guy. He starts counting rows and stones, to the right, and he says, "Here it is!" Unfortunately, they clean all items each week, so there were no items left there. When I go to Sinatra's grave, there are all kinds of items, they leave there. Funny, I took one picture with my hand flashing his gang sign. I have very mixed emotions with it, because even now, families are destroyed by the killings, that are still happening every day here. I actually donate money to anti-gun groups. I will soon put a tribute to Eric Wright. Thanks, and good luck!
