Haha, I know. My wife is actually making lasagna right now. I asked her if she wanted to use my traditional sauce (as I held up the jar). Lol

YOH, I'll probably get labs next week to see where I'm at. I still have to look into the cost of the extra panel, but I'll get CBC, CMP at the very least.

What's your daily sodium intake? If you're bulking with salty protein, then that's your enemy.

I don't think my sodium intake is crazy. It is much higher than most, but that's because I eat twice as much as most. I don't have any swelling in my feet like I have had in the past with a poor diet with high sodium (and no exercise).

Tud i took a peak at your food diary and you are more than double the RDA of 2300-2400. JB has a point. It’s one of the things i had to be wary of when i was trying to bring my BP down last year. It’s crazy how some products are so high in sodium and others (like potato chips) are lower than one would think.

Please educate me on what you are doing?😊

If that is blood I’m looking at (😳), why not donate?

No worries, I won't...

What is it?

Hey guys, it is bloodletting. I used to donate until I was put on blood thinners. They won't accept my blood now.

Are you draining blood to make the BP go down?
06 Oct 23 by member: hebertello
Yes, my recent labs had elevated hemoglobin & hematocrit. I have a history of this and can tell when my blood gets thick. Donating or letting some go helps the symptoms. It isn't a cure.

is that still an accurate nutrition label 80 cals per serving 🤔
06 Oct 23 by member: ObeseToBeast123
No, it is much higher in protein. 😁

Oh My! I’m freaked out. Sorry. I have many nurses in my family and none of them would do this at home. Yikes you are a brave nurse, sir. and trust me I would never do it either. Lol.
