Weight 173.2 My A1c was 6.7 and my cholesterol was down when I went to see my doctor last week. All my other checks were fine. I was a little worried about it because my morning readings have been running higher than I like, but results were good enough. And now that we are having fall weather, my ankles have quit swelling, which they have done all summer. It may not be the heat that made them swell but not being as active during this hot,hot summer. Now I am back working in my garden -- we had rain, Yay! nearly 3 inches and more to come next week. I WILL have a fall garden. We had an early frost that affected but did not kill my zucchini and tomato plants. Other plants are coming up from seeds I planted. I baked a 4 lb zucchini I found hidden below all those leaves. I seasoned it with pumpkin spice. I will make a mock pumpkin pie with it.

Glad your health results were good, and that you got rain. A four pound zucchini sounds amazing! Are they still tender when they get that big? Zucchini is so versatile. Hope we get some of that rain tomorrow.

sherfleur, I baked the zucchini with skin on at 350 degrees. It was very tender, except for the skin. I put some in my smoothie and it was good. Today I'm baking that zucchini mock pumpkin pie.
