Most interesting thing happenned to me today, I am plodding along with my diet, being pretty successful so far, had my usual high fibre breakfast, porridge, bran etc, done mornings walk and work, then lunchtime popped home to fill up again, Had what is called a 'cachumba' salad, which I have had for a few weeks now with some soda or pitta bread. One unusual thing, overdone it on the coriander, and had a second citrus warm water, never done this before, usually have one in the morning. Cachuba salad is cucumber, tomato, red onion, coriander, chilli pepper, lime zest and juice. It is a real aquired taste, and I love it! pretty soon after I felt drowsy, and went to the loo for a movement, unusually 2nd in the day, and went to bed for an hour, got up felt worse, went to work and wolked around my job, usually I can get in 6-7km in the afternoon with the job, but today I finished and made straight for the local shopping centre, had diarrhorea and vomited, I usually walk about 10m30s a kilometre but today it was 13m30s and struggling big time, now four hours later I feel good, but the energy was sapped out of me big time, I was going for a swim after work but was just not up to it. I have been told that maybe my carbs are low, and that the body is craving them by switching down, I must admit I haven't really eaten too much and probably are neglecting certain aspects of my dietry needs. I approached this diet this time(there have been many other unsuccessful times too) with the idea of detoxification after reading a couple of books I have changed radically what i eat, drink, exercise over the last four weeks, have had great weight loss, but today was a real kick in the balls, and I really thought I was going to pass out.
