ChrisComedy's Journal, 10 December 2014

Steps yesterday: 641 (SmartHealth watch); 989 (Withings Pulse)

BPM: 84

Blood oxygen level: 99

I've gotten a lot more consistent about hydration. I thought it would add to my weight, but I'm not retaining, which I guess is a good thing.

Still adding another stepper session every week. I don't know whether it's a breakthrough, but I no longer actively hate working out on the stepper.

Relaxation: 20 minute nap.

Did a non-recorded weigh-in the other day. I have dropped below 130 so I'm now trying to gain weight. First time that's happened.

Turns out the belief that coffee dehydrates is a myth.

I drink lots of water to lose weight. You will get rid of the water that you drink thru urinating and sweating. Drink up!!

Coffee etc only dehydrated if you drink a lot of it. Caffeine is a diuretic so if you drink plain water it will compensate. Decaf coffee is all good.

I've upped my water intake also, when I feel hungry I have some more water. The only downside is having to get up 3 times during the night to pee.

Stay hydrated. I was dehydrated in Aug. Blood pressure dropped to 80/40 and spent 3 days in the hospital with acute kidney failure.

jmb3450, three times a night is about my average. I'm just grateful I can fall back asleep.
