Monday Monday...So good to me🎶🌞

Yup ~ it's Monday all right and we've got this week ahead of us to really make some progress on reaching our goals! They don't even need to be BIG goals (baby goals are JUST FINE!)

Let me see..........if I had to name 1 baby goal for this week, it would be to do 20 minutes of stretching exercises every single morning. I really REALLY miss my 30-45 minutes of cardio/strength workouts every day, but for now...this is a more realistic, attainable & safe expectation for me during this 'flare'.

Now, how bout you? Can you share just 1 'baby' goal for this week? It always helps me to follow through better when I feel accountable to the FS fam, and I thank you SO much for 'havin my back' (so to speak😉) You guys are AMAZING and I'm so very VERY glad I found you here on FS💙💙💙

G'morning Buenita!🙋‍♀️🌞 That is a great goal! I've been trying to stay under 2300mg/day as my goal, but yesterday I went over and had 2488mg because of making a processed food meal (Chicken Teriyaki Voila). Ughhh. I'm just trying to clear out the big freezer of food before it expires 🤷‍♀️

I actually "exercised" as per your chart for bone strengthening - I did 10 toe lifts - 10 wide leg squats - 10 bicep curls today - ( I never did exercise so I do not have small weights and I hate to waste the funds on anything that I am never going to use again) BUT - I have numerous packages of 900 grams of spaghetti --- AND If you hold one package of spaghetti in each hand --- Voila - when I need to go BIGGER - I can tape several packages together --- I have lots of packages of pasta that will never ever eat. I also walked today and visited a nice swamp.

I was surprised after all of those 3 exercises to realize how very out of shape I am ! So Easter is coming & they have Easter coloured pastel M&Ms in the market now - Cool.

Jergens...you crack me up!🤣 I've seen where folks use bags of dry beans, or soup cans for weights also (or filled water bottles). I am SO stinkin proud of you for actually doing some of those exercises! SERIOUSLY!!👍👍👍

Good job on the stretching. My baby goal was taking the dog out for a walk. It is nice once I get there just the motivation in this snow and cold weather

@liv...did you make it outside then? I 💙 'baby goals'!!

Yeah I did get out. The dog was super happy. I was not. But I did it

I do admit - CrystalJo - that I fully intended to make you laugh - thank you for being so proud of me - I thought about soup tins BUT I am still recovering from my last wound and still recovering from my last broken foot. Spaghetti even uncooked is still softer than a full tin can. My grip is not as good as it used to be. I plan on doing a couple more exercises tomorrow !!!

@ Abbadabba - I am no where near being in good enough shape to lift 8 pounds of anything (and a gallon of water weighs 10 pounds) - I am having enough trouble lifting a package of spaghetti - I might work to a couple of milk jugs - who knows what the future will bring !!!

@jergens...whatever works, right?? The thing that MATTERS is that you're even THINKING about exercising and taking walks! 👏👏

@soup48...wow! I started with 1.5 pound weights...then went up to 2 and got up to 3 pounds so far! Be careful, ok? But I am SUPER impressed that you have decided to start something new and challenging! 👍💙

I have a pair of 1 lb weights. They are so cute. I started with water bottles and then I found these. I usually work with 8 and up now. But the small ones are good for those walk in the place exercises I do sometimes when watching TV or something
