unripened bananas are also the easiest to digest. once they are ripe they can sit in you and ferment. this is why some people get heart burn from them.

I can only eat underripe bananas, something about the texture of ripe ones makes me gag 😂

I'm new here, 8 days in this group/app but not new in the world of desire to make healthy choices or life long mental change. I'm not sure if I can ask for advice but I'm going to anyway. I'm sure someone will correct me should I make any wrong moves. Any suggestions on substitute everything coconut? I'm allergic to multiple dehydrated items including any artificial sugars. Reactions range from stomach ache to anaphylaxis. I use fruit, fruit juice or when using natural sugar use minimal. I struggle with coconut oil, flour, water and milk substitutes. If it calls for the meat I use nut slivers or pieces.

@ GidgetJ - There is nothing wrong about any food - you can use what suits you best - just down size the portions and try to stay within your RDI - it is all about portion control and attempting to meet the daily macros to ensure optimal nutrition from your food. As far as substituting coconut with anything - I rarely use those products so I do not know.
