Thanks everyone, I'm looking forward to it. Princess, I used to go to the theater in New Orleans, lunch & Sunday matinee, did it for probably 20 years. Every once in a while we'd spend a few days there. Haven't been back since Katrina, those pictures are seared in my brain. Lots of those people settled in Houston. Such a city, such music, such food.

I spent two weeks in NOLA a number of years ago during Mardi Gras. A bunch of us from the ER went to a conference for a week and then stayed another week. Not quite what I expected but we had a real blast and had some very unusual experiences hanging around with all the different crews. The food was fabulous. I had hoped to do a little more sight seeing but the population surge during that time period just about made it impossible.. would love to go back during off season sometime.

I agree NOLA is so fun to visit I think I have been on every tour and Mardi Gras is just a bonus so much to see 👀 Alabama is talking about starting train services fingers crossed 🤞
