Yesterday we met up with friends for a joint birthday celebration. Five courses of fine dining and four glasses of matched wine plus a pint of beer. An excellent evening out - Of course it is extremely difficult to accurately count the calories but I have estimated it totaled 2000 calories. To offset what I knew was coming for breakfast and lunch I had very small portions and upped my exercise for the day which included two 4.8 mile power walks and averaged under 16 mins to the mile. Total steps were 29500 for the day. Given the above I was delighted to record a small loss this morning.
