This is going so slowly right now it's painful. I know I'll start losing weight again, and I know it's really better long term to lose slowly. But I really really wanted to hit that magic 51 pound mark by my birthday next week, and feel like I was on the downside of the weight loss phase of this life change. So, after my birthday marker, I'm going to go back to monthly weigh-ins, so I can see actual progress with each weigh-in. And by six weeks from now, we hope, it'll be walking season again -- warm enough to tramp around and light enough in the morning and evening to squeeze in 20-30 minute walks with Hermione before and after work. She probably needs to drop a few pounds too after the winter we've had. Meanwhile, for the next six weeks, assumng no more blizzards, I'm committed to 3 days per week at Curves. I feel so much better when I go...
