What made you sick? If I walked to my store it would be 3 miles there and back. There would also a big chance I would get run over by a tractor or a truck hauling cattle etc. These people out here drive like they are on the interstate. Crazy I tell ya. Have a good evening.....Bren 

I ate at a friend's yesterday evening, but think I ate too much blackberry jam with artificial sweeteners and I think that did it... I walked over two miles to WalMart a few weeks ago after an appointment that was on the way. Bren - I don't drive - it's a phobia of mine, so I get rides or take the bus back, tonight my friend wanted to give me a ride so that I would give her gas money, I'm very busy with the writing and going to the store wasn't imperative so I stayed home and edited my first book. I have had to be very careful at particular crosswalk areas where there is no light, one is quite dangerous a few years ago a car waved me to go and the driver in the other direction kept coming, so being a pedestrian one must be careful and now there's ice on the sidewalks so one has to walk very carefully... Bren - I'm in a town with sidewalks, they even put one in near a school last year where I occasionally walk and before I would have had to avoid that street (about two miles away) because there was no sidewalk there... I may get another bike this spring if my back holds up - I am doing great on anti-inflammatory herbs. I will get a light bike that will be easy to pedal instead of a mountain bike. I ride on the sidewalks illegally on some streets that are just too dangerous to bicycle on... 

I'm better abba - today I will probably go for a walk to a store a mile away. The weather isn't too bad, the wind is OK. It is supposed to get near 50* on Friday so we'll have a winter thaw...
