I went to Zumba Gold today & did fine, with my knee wrapped, the instructor & friends on either side of my keeping an eye on me so I didn't over-do. It was great! I danced! Torn meniscus and all.

I posted a picture of my cranberry whole wheat bread on Facebook (I do that a lot, post pictures of my adventure in baking & creative cooking). Another one of my instructors/friend commented that she was drooling over it; she's going out for surgery & will be unable to exercise or do much for 6 weeks. I've offered to bake her & her family goodies while she's down (starting Friday).

I jokingly wrote that I could have a loaf of bread ready in four hours, if she was going to be around. Through the magic of Facebook, I'm now baking a loaf of bread for her: another of her friends offered to help and is meeting me at the gym after she gets off work, picking up the hot loaf of bread, and delivering it to my instructor at her home! I had those ingredients in the bread machine in no time flat.

I'll make similar arrangements during her recovery, since I love to bake so much. It will be cool to do what I like and help out a friend and her family.

The turkey, whipped cream cheese, and cranberry sauce sandwich on my cranberry bread for lunch was heavenly! I think I'll make a light bread pudding with the leftover apricot pecan bread I made a few day ago; will make a good dessert, or breakfast tomorrow.

The rains are still falling, but the sun is breaking through now and then. I hope everyone's power is back on.

Oh yeah, I weighed a pound less this morning, which was a ray of sunshine in this stormy ride that is my life, lol. Good thing I like storms. :o)
