My new normal seems to be between 144 & 146. Can't hate that 😊 I ate just over my RDI of 1500 calories yesterday and averaged 1620 for the week. Dinner was a yummy steak cooked on the Barbecue....hubby & I split a 1 lb. steak....he got the bigger portion. He asked for baked potatoes but I only had 1 potato so I sliced it and oven roasted it with Evoo and Montreal steak seasoning. Add a salad full of goodies & we get a delicious meal.
Our community built a brand new library & it was scheduled to open today. They have been closed for 2 weeks moving the books, etc. from the old location to the new one. Due to Coronavirus the opening has been bumped back to April 🤐 Our library system has another branch close to us that I've been able to use, but they're closing as well. I had our book for Book Club in transit for the past week so looks like I won't be getting it. Not even sure if going to Book Club is a good idea. We have a big Grand Opening Celebration that is being postponed.
Our local Irish Pub does a big St. Patty's Day celebration each year with music & food. I'm bummed we probably aren't going. 🙁 As I mentioned before, our proximity to Atlanta & the other suburbs means lots of folks driving up to partake of the festivities. It's always a huge crowd. Not a great idea to be in the middle of so many people. I get it....just don't have to like it.
The rain subsided enough yesterday we were able to get out for an afternoon walk. It's raining again today 😞☔🌧 so probably no walk.
