I love my ninja system! I need to collect smoothie recipes. I’ve mastered fruit smoothies made with ice and almond milk, any suggestions on using veggies and maybe nuts and seeds along with the fruit? I need to coordinate good tasting combinations.

Darlene you didn't tell me you are a "Ninja Turtle fan!" Green smoothies "veggis" Spinach etc are supposed to be very good for you.

😂 ninja turtle. 😂😂😂😂 i thought of trying spinach, mixed with fruit to mask the spinach flavor. I am not a fan of veggies, or turtles for that matter LOL! Thank you Chestnut! I hope that your day is a good one my friend!

Dlewis - I have a veggie smoothie just about every morning. It consists of kale, low sodium TJ or V8, ice water, and about 1/4 cup homeade kimichi. Sometimes I add a dash of siracha,garlic and horseradish instead of the kimchi. Its like a spicy kick start. I also sometimes like a spinach and banana, or canned pumpkin with greek yogurt... like a pumpkin shake.

I have a smoothie everyday but with fruit, not veggies. I used to make veggie smoothies and I've used cucumber, spinach, carrots and celery. Now I use a protein powder, almond milk, berries & fiber one. Hav fun gathering recipes! #smoothielovers

I add a tablespoon of flaxseed meal and tablespoon of chia seeds. VERY healthy. Trying different yogurts...different frozen berry blends. Have fun. :0)

Be creative, have fun. Flaxseed & chia great idea. Many seeds to choose from, you can add powdered fiber, milk

Oops. Also crushed ice with that and fruit, fresh or frozen for delicious healthy low calorie milkshake. Kids love em too. Enjoy.🌹🏺🍧

One of my favs is banana, orange and greek yogurt with some ice and some soymilk to thin it out. I usually add some pure monk for sweetness. Adding some pumpkin seeds is nice. I like cinnamon and or vanilla with blueberries. Personally I like to keep green veggies and fruit separated lol.

At the grocery yesterday, I was buying frozen berries, and an elderly man was buying frozen peaches, he said how much he enjoyed them. I grabbed a bag of those and will try them in a smoothie. My grandma used to serve peach ice cream, which I so loved! I’m thinking they will be a great addition with some ice, almond milk and yogurt, and remind me of the peach ice cream 😁

Dlewis, I’ve been blending fruit with coconut milk to make smoothies. I’m sure frozen peaches with coconut milk will be creamy sweet and ice cream like❣️ I might even top it with coconut whipped cream for a decadent dessert. 😋😋😋

Moopie- i definitely will get some coconut milk, I tried peaches with almond milk, and it was very bland.
