I didn't make as much progress as I'd hoped. I discovered I didn't have enough lights...threw some out last year at the end of the season. Sent hubby to buy some...he bought the wrong kind. I exchanged them & finally I have sparkly lights!!

Ooh- this looks lovely! Really beautiful! I feel bad because I want to do a tree with just all one color and theme. We have SO many ornaments- everything from Jesus to superheroes- to preschool, glittery messes. It would make me feel bad to not put them up yet- I want matching, simple, beautiful this year! I'm torn- LOL.

Dp, when your girls are the ages of my kids, then you’ll get what you want, til then, enjoy the homemade ornaments plus Jesus to Barbie haha!! PS. Jesus should always stay though imo, without Him, Christmas is ‘just a holiday’ of the masses. 😉😇

The tree only has lights in this picture. I have a lot of ornaments, too. This tree is in the dining room because it's where I have the most space. You can see into the dining room from the kitchen & livingroom. I put up 2 slender alpine trees in the livingroom corner & I put most of my "notagia" ornaments on them. This is my "pretty"tree....or it will be after it's decorated.

Oh time flies dp. Christmas is very different when kids no longer want toys. Shopping gets boring and expensive lol! But it’s still great, at least they’re still both living at home. I dread the day hubby and I wake up Christmas morning all alone 😞
