Need to learn how to fix my pics lol. Lunch was ham & spinach sandwich with chips and avacado. Dinner was chicken leg quarters, mashed squash, and broccoli. 1010 calories combined. If I eat anymore today it will be fruit.

Just a suggestion, but try leaner meat, I know they are cheaper, but the breast is better for you, and kinds pound it out so it’s about the same width and the. You can bake it a 1000 different ways for about 30 min, won’t be dry. Or marinate in a low cal Italian dressing. Yum! I promise, use pork rinds instead of chips! (That’s from a chip junky) 🤗jeep up the good work with the veggies.

I actually just eat chicken breast normally. I only have $50 a month to feed 2 people so I can't be picky lol.

My pictures are always a little blurry. The sandwich sounds good, never thought of spinach on a sandwich.

I've never eaten raw spinach before but it sounds like a great idea for sandwiches... more healthy than lettuce too.

It all looks delicious! I always use chicken dark meat, as I don't care for chicken breast. If you're feeding two people on $50 per month you deserve a medal! 💚💜💛

Yep, I really am feeding 2 people (me and my husband) on $50 a month! It's not easy but I shop sales and use coupons. I go weekly shopping and only spend about $10-$12 to do for the week. I went yesterday and found fresh broccoli 3 for $1, 3 for $1 avacados, 10 lbs bag of chicken leg quarters for $2, pork roast for $2, and tomatoes 4 for $1. Also go some more salad stuff that was not on sale. Those chips was one sale also for .25 a bag! I just got one bag lol. Spent a little over $11 for groceries for the week, with what I already had at home we will be fine.

Wow! I couldn't come near $50 a month to eat, and it's just me. But then, I can't find avocados 3 for $1. I get excited if they are 2 for $3. Produce is really expensive. $3 or $4 a pound for yellow onions and they are huge. So one onion is over $3. Tomatoes are the same - actually it seems like everything is $3-$4 a pound, apples, grapes, etc. But you are doing great with the budget!

That's about how much things are here too. If it was not for sale's and coupons idk what I would be doing. But, thank you :)
