Oh, the sneaky powers of See's dark chocolates! It permeates my consciousness and draws me toward the box; the flavors, textures, bouquets on the tongue.
Sigh, I had done well with my eating today (despite some snacking) and hoped to counteract yesterday's overindulgence. The siren song of the See's proved its powers over me.
So, I may gain a little this week. I can live with that. I've had to cut back on my exercising a bit due to pain, but i do have some wiggle room since I'm under my goal and have a few weeks to shape up for Maui.
I went out for coffee with a couple friends after Zumba and had a nice time chatting. I'd had PT before class and went shopping after our coffee clatch, came home, did some cleaning, rested a little then made a Farmer's Casserole. & Caesar salad for dinner, then paid bills while we watched Tv.
We came upstairs & my partner cashed in a Valentines coupon I made; I read aloud from Mischief in Maggody, using different voices for the different characters; we started this years ago with Joan Hess' hilarious Maggody series and love it all over again. I get totally into character & read untill my partner's snoring, mark our place, then slink off to my other room to unwind from my "performance". I'm getting sleepy as I write...
Tomorrow's a no exercise day, and we're going to a cookware party where we'll probably be given good things to eat as well as having fun and maybe finding more stuff to aid me in my culinary adventures. I'll eat healthy, small portions, and keep as active as possible.
