Happy girl, here! I got in to see a great physical therapist who checked out both my knees & surrounding muscles, ligaments, etc. Turns out my knees aren't any worse; just my muscles & IT band are so tight that they're compressing my knee, causing pain from the damage already there. My patella was stuck. She loosened things up, gave me stretches to do, and cleared me to go to Zumba in the morning. Her work reduced my pain by an enormous amount. Woo hoo!
I see her tomorrow after Zumba, at noon. If I'm doing ok, I'll see her once a week; if pain gets alot worse I'll continue to see her twice a week. It was really cool that she had done Zumba (& understood me) as well as willPower & grace, which she thought was great. I'm a happy camper. Oh, she was a basketball and volleyball player at University of Portland, too.
Time to try my Pork Hominy White Bean Chili that's been in the crockpot all day. Smells wonderful......
