So I know I've gone mia on here for a bit, but I do bear bad news, good news, and more good news lol. Bad- I let my sugar cravings go a bit while I was gone, but kept my protein intake still high. Good & more good: I've successfully rehabbed my hip back to feeling no pain, I've felt tons more energetic, and for the last two weeks I haven't over eaten once and have been eating tons cleaner.

This month with my hip feeling better I'm going to slowly test the waters with squatting and deadlifting- but gradually! I miss it, but I can't dive right in and get injured again.
133.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 3.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
steady weight

good for you. I have severe arthritis in my right hip, and with how damp this summer has been so far, it's caused me more pain then I'd like this time of year. I would love to be pain free in my hip again.

Sorry to hear about your hip...did you fall?? I've got to have my right hip replaced but they won't until I lose weight. I've list 40 and still 20 to go and I am stuck for the last 2 weeks!!! I'm down to using a cane and perhaps going into a wheelchair as it hurts so much to walk. I wish this weight would come off!!!!

Keep it up when you are able to get your hip replaced you won't believe how good you will feel again. I have 2 hip replacements and it has made such a difference in all of my daily activities. Slow progress will get you there. Sending positive vibes!

Thanks Antonia Tosh. Did you have both at the same time? Did you have to lose weight to get it? What BMI did they want you at? I would appreciate any heads up on surgery, recuperation, if you were at home afterwards or rehab center, how long before you were able to stand and walk, etc. Thanks so much!!

Thanks guys!!! & You could say I've fallen... Repeatedly lol. I'm an avid volleyball player and I'm not going to lie, I'm a beast at the backrow. That being said, my hips take a toll from repeated diving and impact. I haven't broken it yet, but I've had tons of pinched nerves and had it out of alignment.
