I'm really enjoying using this web site. Even though I don't have any buddies doing this with me, I feel like it gives me a framework for managing what needs to be a lifelong discipline from this point forward. I'd been keeping a food diary on my own for the past three weeks, but doing it this way is so much easier than sitting with a notebook and Barbara Krause's Calories and Carbohydrates. Thursday I go for bloodwork again, and I plan to weigh myself in the doctor's office. It would be very encouraging if I actually lost a few pounds since I started.
