Logging everything slows me down from the "Screw it, I'll just eat what I want" feeling :)

Your post reminded me to drink water today. I’m so bad at that! Thank you!

Glad you're back at it today, even if you *are* hiding in that big sweater!

Don’t ignore your mental health either. That is extreme important too! Take sometime and color a picture, take a slow walk for fun, go to a coffeehouse drink decaf black coffee and read a book.
My depression looks like yours... I get it I’m there now too... dirty dishes and all. I’m just not as brave as you. You are the only one I follow on here. I’m cheering you on from Grand Rapids Michigan.

I’m glad you are feeling motivated!! Cuz you do have it! You are aware. That is half the battle. And those carb hangovers are seriously rough! 😭 but you’ll make it through today and tomorrow you’ll feel so much better.

Girlfriend it's okay to have a binge it happens to the best of us. Saturday I went to Skrimp Shack, ordered fried fish and shrimp to go then stopped at Church's Chicken to order two legs. Yes, I indulged and have no regrets. On Sunday woke up and walked 7 miles, and made sure I had a gallon of water through out the day. It's something that will happen time to time especially with our past love for food. Focus on moving forward and be honest with yourself that it may happen again, but it doesn't mean we failed, it only means we're human. The wonderful thing is you know what you have to do to get on track.

You got this Sharon. This is training for maintenance and you don’t even know it yet. Not a bad process to go through. Making you stronger!

Yes, don't disappear. When I do that, I gain all of the weight back. Keep logging.

My polite observation is the weekend seems like a place where you want some activity outside your home. Time expands to what we want it or allow it to; so, a few hours volunteering maybe on a Saturday will force structure in your day and limit the damage to your eating schedule and the damage to 'screw it' I can clean up later. Tighten up your day, tighten up your body, Your mind will make the body follow. Like a forward roll. The body goes where the head takes it. Damn. That was pretty good *pats self on back*

Hugs for you! Looking back at our journal entries when we face current challenges can be some of the most emboldening things we read. Keep pressing on!

@Terrapin12, that post was more than "pretty good." I'm finding that staying busy doing something I really enjoy -- like in days-of-old when I loved my job -- makes the time fly. A pat on the back from me, too!
