Woke at 215.0, down 3.0 from yesterday after day two of a three-day water fast. Blood ketones at a nice 2.5 mm, well into nutritional ketosis. Drinking a cup of black coffee, but will drink water for the rest of the day. Instead of eating dinner tonight, I'm going to take it another half day and eat breakfast at work tomorrow. Denise reminds me that two months ago, I got a bit shaky on the morning of my fourth day. Adding lots of pink Himalayan salt to my water today to see if that fixes it. UPDATE: Weighed in at 8:30 pm and got to 213.4. Hoping for another few ounces by the morning. Blood ketones 2.7 mm.

Good job! Nice that you may extend it. Day 3+ is where I get the biggest benefits. Yeah I also hit a point where hunger disappears. I fast so much that I can hit this point on the first day.

Does Himalayan salt makes you go 💩💩? I thought my diarrhea was caused by IF but it was because I was drinking my water with Himalayan salt 😁

On a low carb diet, lack of salt can cause various issues - constipation, dizziness, fuzzy thinking. Diarrhea is more likely caused by artificial sweeteners or undercooked chicken.
