I just looked at a past photo you posted on your progress, you've done so good. And and and I swear, we have almost an identical body (depending on that booty, mine has always been pronounced ha). I've always had the tiny waist. This time it's a little slow to move but I know mine is from a change in hormones! Don't worry, it will come off!

I’m not sure of your age but ... I sadly say this ... I always had a small waist for my size. But as I have aged it becomes less so. Doesn’t matter about my weight so much. I believe it is hormone related. I weigh less but have a bigger waist these days. I am 55 and have been noticing this since I was about 40

Visceral fat seems to get more stubborn with age. I'm suspicious my organs are marbled like steak. Definitely the last to go for me.

My waist was smaller before stretching it out with kids. Now when I get down to my low weights, it isn’t as small. I agree with @newnbetter that it’s an age thing sadly. Probably collagen and skin elasticity since they start decreasing around 30...I’m 32 and no longer look pear shaped without strategic clothing 🤷🏻♀️

TomLong— I have seen my share of internal organs. They are nothing like steak. Think chicken with that clumpy yellow fat clinging to everything.

You will have a small waist, do not worry. I never had a little waist and now I have, when I started losing weight last year with 147 pounds, my waist measured was 96 cm and now my waist is 70 cm

Very reassuring, Kenna! ;-)

Tom— you know those fat dummies that you see on TV where they show you what a pound or 5 pounds of fat looks/feels like? That is exactly what is under the skin of your abdomen, thighs and butt. Sort of gross.

Kenna- your chicken comment was enough to disturb me- I ran a fried chicken place over five years. The marbling comment I made was because my brother was diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver.

Hope you can get past worrying about your waist - you will soon be known for your amazing weight loss!

Tom— sorry about your brother. Fatty liver cannot be cured but can be lived with. The usual— diet, weight control, a diet not high in fats. Without those controls in place cirrhosis will eventually develope.

Just keep working on it Sharon. I'm betting your waist will stay 12" smaller than other measures, albeit with a possible hiccup on the way down. Like I said earlier, it's just slower than we like.
