Wheat is a trigger for me. I have to watch very carefully what I eat and avoid wheat or I will have extreme cravings. When I randomly find myself at the fridge for the fourth time in an hour and really want to start stuffing my face I try to think what I ate earlier to start this cycle. It's usually something with wheat in it. Might be different for others

You can do it! When you get back on track, you can reward yourself by shopping.

Your weight loss has been amazing! So you enjoyed a few carbs -- shake it off and jump back into what you were doing before. I only wish I could drop as much as you have. You look amazing, too.
Chin up, wilber..😊

Perhaps a longer list of the positive results of your new WOE, and other blessings, would be more uplifting and motivating than contemplating the negatives. _____________________
Willpower is highly overrated, and hoping things change can be an obstacle to action! _______ My new mantra: "DECIDE. PLAN. COMMIT. REST. EXECUTE. REST. Do it again!" ________________ I strongly recommend "The Pleasure Trap: Mastering the Hidden Force that Undermines Health & Happiness" by Douglas J. Lisle. ___________________
The review: A wake-up call to even the most health conscious Americans, this book challenges conventional wisdom about sickness and unhappiness in today's contemporary culture and offers ground-breaking solutions for achieving change. ______________
Inspired by stunning original research, comprehensive clinical studies, and their successes with thousands of patients, the authors construct a new paradigm for the psychology of health that offers fresh hope for anyone stuck in a self-destructive cycle. ______________ Learn unique insights into the factors that make us susceptible to dietary and lifestyle excesses; then discover how to restore the biological processes designed by nature to keep us running at maximum efficiency and vitality. This book can change your life.

I ease back into following my WoE. I get off track so I like you have slow down the train and then speed up as I make better choices.

Momma, I agree with Adef. Don't be so hard on yourself. Remember on a previous post you said you tend to be a people pleaser? How about pleasing yourself aka being kind to yourself. There are plenty of people out there willing to not be there for you, so you must be there for yourself. Yes, you will figure this out, because you are an intelligent woman who as already accomplished a lot and not just in losing weight. You have 5 amazing children, even though I don't know you or your family personally, your success
and their happiness shows in the photos you have posted. And remember poop and water add up! ;)

Thanks again all my friends.
Becc@ thank you!! You are so kind...it’s easy as a stay at home Mom to feel like you aren’t accomplishing much or doing anything great day in and day out but I am proud of my kids—they are good people and I hope I’ve done something to contribute to that😉 thanks for seeing positive in me and my family. It means a lot!

Ok I get it u want to lose, but u know .4 lb is nothing, u done really well. If u can’t stick to ur woe, try to limit portions n maintain. Once u get motivation to stick to ur new woe do so, so u can lose the last few pounds

One or two pounds isn't enough to worry about, normal fluctuations. We have a tendency to think one or two bites of forbidden foods has doomed us to failure even though we know deep down that isn't true. Fear of gaining might trigger a cortisol rush which might make one want to eat more. Calm down, you've got this. Eat too much one meal, make it up the next meal or the next day. Tracking will help monitor and give incentive to stay on track even for those on maintenance.
Keep having confidence in yourself.

Momma, get through this tough stretch and it will get easier again. Also remember as you approach your goal, maintenance still requires some effort and diligence, a somewhat different effort than losing but still an effort. Take care!!

This is only a blip.. maybe work on your decisional balance.. it works for me?..
Put 2 columns on a sheet of paper..
On the left hand side write down what will happen if you don’t follow your WOE
On the right hand side, write down what will happen if you keep the breaks on and get back on track.. maybe go back thru your journal and remi nd yourself of your NSVs to put in this column.
If you’re more technically minded than me, you can do this as a document on your computer and put photos in😁
Then stick it somewhere where you’ll see it every day and can refer to it.. on the fridge door/ inside your wardrobe door/in your handbag 😁
Hopefully, this will tip the balance and help you to choose the healthier route.
You’re doing great 👍
We’re all here to support you momma 🤗🤗
