How low percentage wise are your carbs?
I don’t want to go Keto but could work on lowering carbs. Just trying to find something that works 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
So happy you’ve found what works for you. Great job !

I think I read a post by Richard Nikoley that said something along the lines of, "It doesn't matter what you eat if you're still eating like an A-hole you won't lose weight." That's pretty vague and can be generalized in a lot of ways, but definitely hits the mark!

Thanks guys! I thought it was an interesting comparison and tells me my body responds better to this way of eating.
Brenda: I aim for 20g total carbs a day. Most days I’m a bit over...some days I’m way over and some I’m lower. Percentage wise I think my goal is 75% fat, 20% protein, 5% carbs. I focus more on macros than calories.

Great that you have old data to make this comparison. It's really interesting, especially the being down 10lbs more, not working out as much, and also not being as hungry. It's all good! I've chosen to make keto a lifestyle and not simply a diet to lose weight, because of what I believe are the increased health benefits. Thanks for your post!

Great job! It's great to be able to go back and see what didn't work, or what did. You're right not every WOE works for everyone, but I'm glad you've found what works for you and you're sticking with it.

Way to go. It is always great to look at other data. What you thought was a benchmark is a good comparison

Thanks for your input Momma6224. I am one that truly loves her bread but willing to cut back. Gonna give it my best shot. We will see

Thanks everyone!
Brenda: I love bread too!! And pasta, and potatoes...everything I now choose not to eat. I really don’t miss it as much as I thought I would. I can eat cheese, ranch dressing, butter, whipping cream...so many yummy things 😁
