Has anyone besides me heard the term "carb- up"? This is used when you are at a weight loss plateau. It "shocks" the body back into weight loss by inducing a large amount of carbs and then stripping them away. (This coming from someone who hasn't ready the book, so take it easy on me) The reason I bring this up is because perhaps this could be a reason why you "cheated" but still lost. I don't think this should be used to justify a cheat, but perhaps it is what some need to get over a hump.
