Moderate LCHF is the plan for this year but a few real heavies were thrown in this week, with pasta, pies and pizza not helping. This is a permanent way of life rather than a diet so the occasional treat (thank goodness the festive season is over now food-wise) won't kill me. If I can average better than a kilogram each month and keep it off, I will be happy. I am aiming for 2kg loss per month but I don't want to keep replacing clothes, even from an opp shop. This way of eating has immense benefits health-wise apart from weight loss: my niggling aches and pains disappear and my general mood improves. I am lucky not to have serious problems such as diabetes, which is reported to respond positively to this lifestyle.
