Hi, I too have 11 lbs to go but the weight does not seem to be budging. I started at 215 last spring and am down 65 also but have been hovering in the low 150s for a few months now. I was off exercise for a while because of an injury but am back on track as of this week. I eat lchf and stick to 1200 calories or less. I wondered if you had any suggestions about getting rid of these last 10lbs. In reality I'd like to lose 15 more to have a maintenance buffer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've not been trying to hard with the holidays :) I would be careful about staying under the 1200 mark, unless you know that's where you metabolism is, I wouldn't stay too long, as you will depress what metabolisim you have, under 1200 is considered starvation zone for most, and can backfire on you. Try increasing your calories a bit (maybe an extra 50 calories a day for a week or two) and see what happens. Try to eat at the top of your range for loss, rather than at the bottom. I would also make sure that you're looking for a reasonable weight, how do you feel, instead of what does the scale say? I decided to up my final target because I didn't want to have to work so hard to be where I thought I should be, when I felt good and was happy with how I looked at a higher weight (I think I need to adjust what's here again, I'm about 6 lbs from my final high right now). Also, a buffer is good, a 5 pound range to stay in will help you be reasonable. :) Good luck! How much have you lost? If it's a lot your body may be fighting back and holding for a bit would be good (another reason I'm adjusting my "final" weight goal). Take care!

I've lost 65lbs. I actually realized my calorie intake was too low as you suggested. I started eating closer to 1500 over the last couple of days and funnily enough went down almost a lb. I work out hard 5-6 days a week and I was not eating enough. My weight before kids was 125-133, so I think 140 is a reasonable goal weight. I was 25 then, I'm almost 50 now. Thanks for your feedback.
