While the numbers don't say it, things are going well since the xmas gorging. I have been keeping to a healthy eating routine and working out 1 1/2 to 2 hrs almost every day. I missed new years day due to no day care at the Y. I am trying to focus on health and the way my body feels and trust that the numbers will catch up if that is what is meant to be. I was so down for a while and had to remind myself that in the last two years I walked "the three day" (= 60miles), climbed Mt. Washington (up and down) and learned to run- completing my first half and full marathons. And with all that, I only began to drop weight again after I STOPPED working out so hard..... I hope I am not being anti-weight loss here, but does anyone ever think that those numbers just dont tell the whole story (kidding... sort of) Still have that beach vacation coming up... hoping to be in a positive frame of mind (and body) come February 28.
174.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 29.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
