oh em gee.....my first goal weight is 170.0lbs - SEVEN TENTHS OF A POUND TO GO!!! Hard to believe when I started my WLS journey in Dec of 2015 that I was 260lbs...and I admit I sometimes still see that woman in my head, and have to take a second look in the mirror to believe the person looking back is really me.....WLS is NOT just a procedure, it's a TOOL, and a MINDSET - I'm still getting there, but am unbelieveably happy that I took this route - I've been incredibly lucky that I have very supportive friends and family, but I know there are folks out there that don't have what I have - they're told they're lazy, they took the easy way out...believe me, there is NOTHING easy about having a Gastric Sleeve, or Bypass - nothing at ALL...it isn't easy for ANYONE to lose weight, no matter how you do it - and I give huge props to anyone that is trying, and being successful, no matter which route they're on! A 100lb loss, a 10lb loss or one tenth of a pound - it's a LOSS, and it's awesome!
Happy Friday and have a great weekend!
