Don't let it get you down... Fluctuations are normal. Just focus on positive choices and in the end you'll get there! :-)

thanx..
but there are times I wonder what's the point.
had an appointment with the ortho surgeon, even though he doesn't like doing joint replacements on 'younger' people (At 54 I never thought of myself as "younger" but for this stuff I guess I'm still a zit face, broken voice kid)
but in the shape and pain I'm in and have there really isn't much more
'alternatives' left.

A friend of mine was looking at a knee replacement - about same age as you as also considered too young - and when evaluated by yet another doc he said she really needed a hip replacement. Her knees are bone on bone. She has had one hip done now and recovery has been fairly rapid - considering.

Eliminate diet sodas immediately, and google 'oil pulling'. These two things will bring a lot of pain relief for joints, then reassess.
