well, Ballooned up over the holiday...ticked over that, didn't feel like I was. lonely, depressed (as the progress slips away) and discouraged is the hardest thing to fight against, carbs are nothing compared to that...
Dehydrated too, been beating myself up in the sun and heat with my landscaping to get as much done as I can before the Achilles surgery (recover is 4 weeks non-weight bearing using a knee scooter, then 4 weeks in a boot).

Holidays can be tough, especially when combined with a weekend. Don't get discouraged, just recognize that everyone slips occasionally, and get back to it! Do address the dehydration right away as that can have serious ramifications, including affecting your recovery from surgery!! You can do it!

It's hard to keep up the diet when you feel depressed. In my life depression and weight gain go hand in hand. This surgery is a thing to get through; the time will pass and in the end you'll be done with it and life will be better. Hang in there!
