A little disappointed in the drop - thought it should've been more considering how hard I worked in the garden all weekend. And I didn't eat badly either, although I did not have salad all weekend. Maybe it's muscle forming - isn't that heavier than fat? Oh, well, back to the gym today and THEN work more in the garden!
(I guess this is still better than going up!)

When you do extra activity that your body isn't used to (especially if you have sore muscles), your muscles may retain water to help them heal. This can show on the scale as a temporary gain, no loss or smaller than usual loss. When I rake, mow, garden, paint, etc, my scale tends to go up. Once your muscles heal, you should see a nice loss on the scale. All the activity helps. Muscle is more dense than fat and takes up less room. So a pound of fat and pound of muscle are the same but the volume would be much different.

Thanks, Suzi! At least it makes me feel better! :) I'll keep on it and hopefully I'll see a difference on Thursday's weigh in. Still went to the gym today, too.
