Hello All, How is everyone? busy day, today two house cleans. One was huge house built in 3 stages first was built in the 12 century, one other bit was added on in 1600's the third bit was built in Queen Victoria time. I loved it because I used to live in a 12th century cottage. when my Father died my Mother re married and we lived in a cottage thatched. built in 1620. now many years Later I live in a very modern flat. How times change. Still steps to do later. Merry Mel 🤩

Your garden looks beautiful from the pictures you post Chestnut 🌻💙 1950s houses do have lots of space. I live in a 2000's house - not much garden, but enough for a small veg plot 🙂

Thatched cottages or any other type of non standard construction are becoming impossible to insure. You are lucky to have had that experience, Mel
