Today I'm happy tp just have maintained. My hudband's birthday is today, and last night I made him a meal from one of Wolfgang Puck's recipes. Chicken breast with roasted peppers in Cream Sauce with Green onion, Sherry, and Rice Vinegar -- and a lot of butter. What's more, I made him a cake for today. The cake, itself, is healthy-ish. I could make it healthier with whole grain flour and some other substitutes, but it's the cream cheese frosting for the zucchini cake that absolutely heaves on the fat and sugar. In making the frosting, I had to test, and test. I figure I had two tablespoons in just making it, and it sits waiting to be served tonight. Part of life, these treasured traditions and memories we make on such festive occasions. I will savor the cake as I did the chicken.

I've done adjusting with what else I ate, and I've worked out consistently. I feel a head cold starting, and of course the worst fears creep in about "the virus." However, I love sharing with all of you that having dropped 22 pounds, I am only in the co-morbitity of being 51. No longer "obese" as they clinically categorized me based on my height. Again, health is my primary motivator. I with you all a fabulous day. Be joyful. Life is hard and beautiful all at once.
