Good Monday Morning!

Greeted the day with 12 rounds of Classical Sun Salutations, then heading off to a yoga class with one of my favorite teachers.

Planning to break my fast around noon today after I run my errands, probably with left over lasagna from yesterday's brunch. My mom recently had knee surgery but she pulled out a frozen lasagna yesterday to contribute to an impromptu brunch gathering. She is Italian, so you can imagine how good her lasagna is....my God, the woman can cook.

Energy is high, yoga pants feel loose, excited to pull out the next size down very soon!!

I do a 16:8 IF but it happened unintentionally. Cutting out the nightime snacking and waiting until 8:00 to have breakfast. How hard is that?? When did normal eating behaviour become constant grazing, eating and even spending so much time thinking about food. The best benefit for me was to normalize that three meals and no snacks is healthy eating.

Hi Crazycatchick. I have four kitty furbabies (all now in their mid to late teens) so I will give you a run for your money on the crazy.

I only have one and she is 15. We had to put her life time male playmate to rest a few years ago. They were besties the type who groomed each other, didnt fight over snacks and playtime and shared a litterbox!! She was very stand offish when I tried twice to bring in another cat. Based on that relationship I thought she would like a new friend. She was not open to an imposter... and a replacement would never do. Never ever in my life 15 years ago did I think I could become so fond of cats. I always was interested in doing animal rescue but home and work committments made that difficult. Things have changed and recently participated in a few rescues. That is my crazy!!

It is a beautiful ministry to love animals and help them. I have two females that barely tolerate each other and two males that just love everyone, so it balances out. The females "time share" the home and stay out of each other's way. We fostered kittens once when our girls were young. All the cuteness of kittens with none of the long term commitment. It was a joy!

Hi Triangle-Woman. I saw your comments on Melissa's post and all the reactions to it. I'm really glad you've found a WOE that works for you, but may I suggest that you consider the fact that you were offering advice to someone who has lost considerably more weight than you in a shorter period of time. This site is about encouragement and support, and I wish you all the success in the world. I'm sure others will notice your successes and be inspired by you as time goes by.
