Oh my stars. I'm ashamed that I ate about 4000 calories yesterday. I'm so glad that today is going better. I was anxious about not meeting perceived expectations in many areas of my life, and I was worried about people's possible judgments of me.

The honest part is that yesterday's eating is how I had eaten on many a day in the month that I had been jobless & feeling awful. It's not surprising that I gained 14 pounds in a month.

This goes to show that for all those years when I was not recording my intake & was putting weight back on, I was still being cognizant to a degree. Imagine if I'd behaved like this the whole time & gained 14 pounds a month instead of 14 pounds every 2 years?

I love myself, I forgive myself, and I am proud of myself for being honest about yesterday & being brave enough to try again today.
181.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 45.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
