Thought I was having a bad week. There was a staff lunch with mexican. I brought my own low carb soft tortilla in for the shredded chicken. I abstained from the chips. then someone who was leaving brought in doughnuts. I love doughnuts! Anyway, I decided to allow myself a little cheat so I had half a cruller. I have been surpassing my 10,000 steps for the past week and still doing my strength exercises everyday. I was very happy to see the scale go down after this week. I am excited that I am getting closer to the 180's. I can do this. And I realize that this is not just a "diet", it is a lifestyle change that I must continue. I got serious about this when The doc thought my sugars were getting a little high. so I will need to make that appointment to have that checked out and I'd also like to see if my cholesterol levels have gone down. They have always been on the moderately high side but not high enough to do meds. I take Prelipid, all natural to help lower. And my good cholesterol has always been very high to offset the bad. Anyway, glad it's the weekend and its going to be a beautiful one. Happy Weekend!
