Happy Monday all! Up another pound - but still not frightened by this. :) I will never fail to be amazed at how quickly you can put weight back on when you over-indulge and how much longer it takes to lose it. I can only imagine how much more I would have gained if I had indulged in high carbs - so glad I didn't. I am saying goodbye to a high-protein Christmas and a small amount of wine, which pushed the scales in the upward direction. Once I get back to the exercise though, it will help to start moving the scale downwards. It's nice to get back to my fairly boring daily low carb diet, but I purchased a Paleo cookbook and hope to spice things up in the kitchen soon. I am looking forward to a year of health, wellness and personal discoveries. I have a sabbatical ahead of me that is giving me the opportunity to realize some of my dreams. I have no specific resolutions for 2014, except to remain open to the journey ahead and the learnings that will take me into the next phase of my life.
