I knew it was going to be bad. I’ve stayed off the scale and this app for awhile. I kept t we sling myself I could gain control without stepping on the scale. I made myself get on it this morning. It was time to face the music. My stomach hurts all the time because I’m eating all the crap I shouldn’t. My clothes are tight. I see the weight in my face. I started this journey last December when I went to the dr and saw I was up to 184. I vowed to make changes and I did. I have gotten down to 146, one pound from my goal of 145. Now I’m climbing back up. Oh no way, I’m not going back there! Time to regroup and get disciplined! I mean, why do I eat the stuff when it physically makes me hurt and uncomfortable? It’s insane.

it's fantastic that you are using the scale again and back on this app; that's real courage! we all enter into denial at various points and desensitize ourselves to our behaviors and the things in our life that are causing us pain (especially now during Covid!); you're not alone; and remember, you've already proven you have the resiliency you need...reaching out on here is an act of resiliency! 💪🥳

I can be the worst at self sabotage and it is insane. But the good news is that we can start over and over...until we get so tired having to start over that we stay on course! 10 is easier to lose than 20 or 30.....You got this!

It's good your coming back! I was eating like that due to boredom and stress. I found planning snacks helps but the thing that really helped was eating enough protein and reducing sugar. But despite that I think this community has been the most helpful! I probably spend way too much time on this app but it really is helping me stay accountable and everyone helps to spur me on! The holidays are the best time to maintain some control! For me It's best if I plan for all those moments. Including night time snacks. You can do it!!!

Have you heard of future self journaling? That was a game changer for me and self sabotage with food.
